The National Education Administration of the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with local governments, is promoting health-promoting schools and strengthening campus health literacy.
The National Education Administration of the Ministry of Education and the National Health Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare are jointly promoting the Health Promoting Schools Program, striving to create healthier school environments.
Through a national presentation, they recognize outstanding schools and encourage the exchange of best practices, laying a solid foundation for the vision of a “Healthy Taiwan.”

Mu-Lin Chen , Principal of Bali Elementary School and Member of the Central Guidance Committee, recipient of the Health Promoting School Contribution Award.
From serving as the Oral Health Center School and Health Promotion Convenor to serving as a committee member for the Ministry of Education’s National Education Administration Health Promoting School and Child Oral Health Program, Principal Mu-Lin Chen has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to education and children’s health. He has advanced diverse and innovative initiatives, integrated resources within and beyond the school, and supported the healthy growth of students—further strengthening his dedication to health promotion.

County and city experience exchange
Taipei City shares its experience with outstanding counties and cities in health-promoting schools in the 112th academic year - A healthy and safe city starts on campus
The Department of Education of the Taipei City Government, in line with the “Healthy and Safe City” policy, promotes the Health Promoting Schools Program. Focusing on seven key themes, it integrates cross-departmental resources, emphasizes evidence-based research, fosters collaborative learning among parents, teachers, and students, and applies diverse and innovative educational models to establish a comprehensive health promotion system.
